- Sweeping melodrama from Vynehall's upcoming LP.
- Leon Vynehall describes "Mothra" as "the unfurling of something." That might sound vague, but it's spot-on. The unidentified "something" he speaks of roars with a primal energy. Siren-like synths sweep through the track as the percussion chirps and swirls like jungle wildlife. Just as "Mothra'' hits full sprint, the groove dissolves into an ocean of blindingly bright pads, only to abruptly cut back into the original groove like it never left, this time with a more urgent tempo. It's a wholly euphoric listen that moves with predatory purpose.
