- Defining Today, the first EP by Seoul resident Kim Jooyoung and the debut release on his party series turned label OverCurrent, leans heavily towards ambient and mediative grooves. But its last track, "Starrr," is a workout, almost literally—the forceful grunts are reminiscent of aerobic instructors. They remind you to keep moving even as cosmic synths and coiling acid lines tempt you into lying down. A student of sports medicine, Kim probably has a special understanding of music's physical impact, so it's not surprising "Starrr" serves both the body and mind.
