- Both versions of "Air House" start out with hints of '90s-style ambient house, but it's not long before they split paths. Romain FX, the boss of Hong Kong-based Fauve Records, goes for bounce all the way, but it's a whole different ride with Singaporean producer Bongomann. His remix takes us into smoky territory where a drum & bass-style rhythm morphs into a catchy house beat, adding a brooding undertone to the disco-inspired original. Seemingly made for lockdown sessions, Bongomann's choice of shimmering liquid textures feel warm, woozy and inviting.
