- Things have been quiet for Djoser since he first appeared on 3024 last year, contributing a nifty hand percussion-heavy track to the second compilation on Martyn's label. The first single of his first forthcoming EP marks a richer, fleshed-out sound. Hard drum-inspired percussion is still the focus, but the feel here is lazy and drifting instead of explosive. The bass is muted, paired with a fizzy breakbeat and bright, twinkling pads that lizard out in the track's most spellbinding moments.
