- The Austrian guitar experimenter will release his new solo album in November.
Avant guitar specialist Fennesz will release a new album late next month.
The experimental hero's Black Sea is set to be the producer's first solo record in nearly five years and will come out on Touch, his frequent home. Like much of his work, it will feature guitars that rarely sound like guitars. Instead, the Austrian tweaks the source material into digital forests of sound. On this particular outing, he's even listed the elements used to make the thing: "Acoustic and electric guitars, synthesizers, electronics, computers and live-improvising software lloopp." And, in "Glide"'s case, that should read the talents of Rosy Parlane, whose ambient excursions have also found release on the imprint in the past.
