Find us at SOUP and The Loft this weekend.
We've announced the timings for our 21st birthday celebrations in Manchester this weekend.
The programme will open with an evening of editorial-led talks and interviews on Friday evening at SOUP, followed by a party at SOUP and a daytime event at The Loft on Saturday.
At 6:30 PM this Friday, Meat Free's Alice Woods will host a panel called "Tracing Manchester Nightlife." This will be followed by a live Exchange with dubstep legend Mala hosted by journalist Kieran Yates. At 8:45 PM, writer Matt Anniss, who wrote Join The Future: Bleep Techno and the Birth of British Bass Music, will bring our Art of Production feature series to life with 808 State. From 6 PM through 11 PM, Jon K will be soundtracking the upstairs bar.
The night-time programme at SOUP will feature Cooly G back-to-back Scratchclart (AKA Scratcha DVA), Theymie XX back-to-back Bella Lugosi and a debut back-to-back from ZULI and LCY, plus solo sets from Low Jack, Dis Fig and DJ Lycox.
On Saturday, the party at The Loft will run from 1 PM through 10:45 PM. We're welcoming Binh, Radioactive Man (who will play live), Joe Delon, Gwenan, Eksish and Danielle, who will go back-to-back with Ryan Elliott.
In addition to Manchester, we're hosting parties, talks and more in New York next weekend. We've also published a limited-edition book containing 26 love letters to nightlife.
Here are the timings for both Manchester parties and the editorial programme.
