  • Boudica Music Conference returns to London's Freemasons Hall on Sunday, August 7th. As with all Boudica events, the conference will centre the experiences of women, trans and non-binary folk. Six panels—produced in collaboration with Musicians Union, Featured Artist Coalition, Association of Electronic Music, Brighter Sound, Keychange and Music Manager Forum—will be followed by live performances from Nkisi, BISHI and Planningtorock. Panel highlights include a conversation with acid house legend DJ Paulette; a discussion called "Protecting Communities At All Costs" with Judy Griffith (fabric), Charlie Deakin Davies (The TCC) and Lewis G Burton (Inferno); and a panel on sexism and sexual harassment in the industry. As well as a conference, Boudica is a collective, party series and label. The first release, Pure Bones, lands next Monday, July 25th. Boudica is run by DJ, producer and promoter Samantha Togni.
