- It's available now via Hardwax.
Lowtec has released a new album on Workshop.
Out now via Hardwax, Old Economy spans 15 tracks across two vinyl, with a mix of leftfield house and more downtempo, cinematic sounds. It's Lowtec's first release on his label since 2015's RA-recommended Angstrom EP.
"I wanted to make an LP with as long as possible playing time on only one vinyl record," Lowtec told Resident Advisor. "The music is mostly from the last two years. The style can be described as free and reflects the end of the old economy."
Lowtec's last full-length was last year's Easy To Heal Cuts, which collected various rarities and unreleased tracks. His last studio album was 2019's Light Surfing on Avenue 66.
