- Plonk will be out via Incienso on February 25th.
Huerco S. will release his first album in six years next February.
Plonk spans ten tracks, each titled "Plonk" followed by the corresponding Roman numeral. It marks Brian Leeds's first LP under the alias since 2016's For Those Of You Who Have Never (And Also Those Who Have).
The album's concept is rooted in Leeds's childhood love of cars (particularly rally cars), with each track intended to capture a different aspect of the mechanics. Plonk also features Leeds's first vocal collaboration, with Washington DC artist Sir E.U.
Plonk will be out via Incienso, the label run by Anthony Naples and Jenny Slattery, on February 25th. A long-time friend and collaborator, Naples describes Leeds as "an inspiration to myself and many others in the pursuit of individuality in our own music."
The lead single, "Plonk IV," is out today, with an accompanying visual directed by Jack Anderson.
