- The MV-1 is designed for taking tracks from initial idea to completion.
Roland is releasing a music production workstation called the Verselab MV-1.
Due out this month for $700, the Verselab offers budding vocalists, producers and songwriters a tool for creating and developing ideas into complete tracks. It's specifically pitched at beginners, offering "everything you need to make radio-ready tracks without all the complications."
Built-in song templates, pattern generators and workflow aids are designed to help the writing process, with mixing and mastering tools on hand for finishing tracks. 3,000 in-built sounds can be arranged with a TR-REC step sequencer and 16 pads, plus there's a mic input with vocal effects. Read the full feature list on Roland's website.
