- A double-LP version of the final full-length from the outré dance project is out on Utter in March.
Mutsumi, the third album from Mutsumi Kanamori (Mu)—produced by Maurice Fulton—will hit vinyl for this first time in March via Utter.
The third album from the singular project has previously only been available digitally, via Fulton's own BubbleTease Communications, though Running Back pressed up a couple of tracks from the 2010 LP on a 12-inch called Look Down At Your Feet Below. It's the most experimental full-length from the cult project, which scored unlikely underground hits with tracks like "Let's Get Sick" and "Paris Hilton."
The vinyl version, which comes courtesy of Alex Egan's imprint, includes Fulton's instrumental version of "Collage Panty Smelling." For more recent Fulton-produced material, check out Jimi Tenor's just-released Metamorpha album and Mim Suleiman's 2019 LP, Si Bure.
Listen to Mutsumi in full via the BubbleTease Communications Bandcamp.
