Citing uncertainty with development in the area, the venue will say goodbye to the long-running party after New Year's.
Bristol venue Motion will end its flagship In:Motion series after a decade.
In a statement, the club's team said there is "no guarantee" of another season of In:Motion "as we know it" and cited uncertainty with real estate development in the area as reason for ending the long-running party after their tenth-anniversary celebrations. The final In:Motion event will take place on New Year's Day. The 3000-capacity venue will remain open into the new year for a "new chapter."
The autumn season opens on Saturday. September 28th, with a Drumcode party featuring B.Traits, Pan-Pot and more. The rest of the year's programme will see the likes of Four Tet, Sven Vath, Âme, Maya Jane ColesEclair Fifi, Gerd Janson, Shy FX, Annie Mac, Anna Wall, Barely Legal and DEBONAIR, among others.
