- The four-track Mantra 12-inch will come out on his label in April.
Kr!z will put out his first record on April 12th.
The Belgian artist is best known as a techno DJ and the founder of Token, the label he's been running for 12 years. Mantra is the first time he's released his own record, following two collaborative tracks on Token's ten-year anniversary compilation, Momentum.
The four-track EP takes influence from techno luminaries like Jeff Mills and Robert Hood, as well as Token label-mates Ø [Phase], Sigha and Antigone, according to the press release. The text describes the record as "hypnotic trips, exquisite loops and sinuous contours."
