The rooftop season starts on Friday, May 11th with a live set from Roy Ayers.
Brooklyn club Output has announced its summer schedule for The Roof, the venue's multi-level, open-air roof deck, which will run from early May through September.
The Roof's offerings will feature Saturday and Sunday parties that start at 2:00 PM, and select Friday and weekday events that kick off at 5:00 PM. (The weekday events have free admission.) Opening night, on Friday, May 11th, will host a live set from jazz and funk legend Roy Ayers. Two days later, on Sunday the 11th will see ReSolute take over the roof with help from Move D and SIT, the Romanian duo of Cristi Cons and Vlad Caia.
Other highlights across the season include KiNK, Daniel Bell, Kerri Chandler, Tom Trago, D'Julz, tINI And The Gang, Danny Krivit (who's booked for a handful of 718 Sessions), Francis Harris, Brawther, DJ Fett Burger and Francesca Lombardo, along with some Tiki Disco events. On three holidays—Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day—The Roof will host Everyday Afrique, a party billed as "delivering the freshest African rhythms and Caribbean vibes."
