30 house and techno acts have been confirmed for the venue's debut music series, which launches on Saturday, February 4th.
The first dance music acts playing new London venue Printworks have been announced.
As revealed earlier this month, London Warehouse Events (LWE) and Broadwick Live will oversee the music programme at the multipurpose venue. From Saturday, February 4th, they will host weekly all-day events in Press Halls, a 2,500-capacity space within Printworks that was formerly Western Europe's largest printing facility. The room will be fitted with L'Acoustic and SB28 speakers, more than 100 lasers, and a custom-designed automated lighting truss. They'll run the parties in collaboration with local promoter The Hydra, as well as Berlin festival Melt!, techno label Klockworks and Hot Since 82's party brand, Knee Deep In Sound.
No date-specific lineups have been announced yet—they're coming on December 7th—but there are confirmed slots for 30 acts from across house and techno. They include DJ sets from Ben Klock, Adam Beyer, Daphni, Seth Troxler, Luciano, Nina Kraviz, Loco Dice, DJ Koze, Alan Fitzpatrick, Maya Jane Coles, Chris Liebing, The Martinez Brothers, Maribou State, Joy Orbison, Hot Since 82, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Butch, Jeremy Underground, Bjarki, Luke Vibert, Mind Against, Gold Panda and Kiasmos. Dopplereffekt and Max Cooper will perform live.
"It's been a hell of a journey to try and put this together but the end result is something we're proud of and excited by in equal measure," says Printworks talent booker Will Harold. "The lineups each and every week represent a different take on where London is at musically. It's gonna be intense, we can't wait to get started."
