- The LP, made under the name Kovsh in the late '90s and '00s, is out on Convex Industries.
Rivet has released Hilt, album of old material going as far back as the late '90s.
Convex Industries is putting out the record, which comprises older work recorded by Rivet, AKA Mika Hallbäck, from 1998 through 2008. It comes under the name Kovsh, and encompasses a more general and multi-genre approach than the techno he makes as Rivet. The cover image, by Martin Olsson, was reportedly inspired by Hallbäck's "near death motorbike crash" a few years ago. Hilt follows recent releases on the UK label from dBridge, Loxy & Resound and Convex founder Kid Drama, including his own electronica side project, Mikarma. You can check out a preview of Hilt below.
