VIVa, Tribal Sessions and Dance 88/89 have all secured slots for the coming season, which launches on May 7th.
Sankeys Ibiza has revealed its seven weekly residencies for the 2016 season.
This year's lineup is a mix of fresh faces and old favourites. Sankeys' own UK garage and house night The Redlight returns for a second summer, moving from Thursday to Monday. That launches on May 23rd. New hip-hop party Applebum has been given the Tuesday slot, while Dance 88/89, which will cater to fans of golden-era rave and acid house, takes Wednesday. Alfredo and Bushwacka! have been confirmed as residents.
Club-ready techno and house dominates Thursday through Sunday. In-house party Unusual Suspects will extend its winter run into the summer, kicking off on May 12th. Popular London outfit Abode will make its Ibiza debut with 13 Fridays from June 24th, and Sankeys' flagship event, Tribal Sessions, will switch to Saturday. The latter will run for 26 weeks from May 7th. The final spot goes to Steve Lawler's VIVa Warriors, which returns for its fifth season of Sundays. Full lineups will be revealed in the coming months.
Sankeys will officially open for the season on Sunday, May 1st, three weeks earlier than last year.
