- The Detroit DJ's three-hour performance will accompany a screening of the 1929 classic at The Coronet Theatre in April.
Jeff Mills will score Fritz Lang's 1929 silent classic, Woman In The Moon, live at London's Coronet Theatre on Thursday, April 28th.
Mills has grown attached to the German sci-fi director's work over the years—in 2000 he recorded a soundtrack for Metropolis, and just last year he released a three-CD package to accompany Woman In The Moon. He'll use the latter as the basis for April's three-hour performance, which will sit alongside a screening of the film. The concert will be entirely seated, with Mills starting at 8 PM.
The Detroit artist's last performance of this kind in the capital was in June 2014 at the Royal Festival Hall, where he scored a montage of sci-fi clips from the 1930s through '70s.
Tickets to The Coronet Theatre show will go on sale on Friday, February 5th.
