- It's called Electronic Music From The Faroe Islands 1993, and it's out today.
Legowelt has self-released an album titled Electronic Music From The Faroe Islands 1993.
Danny Wolfers describes the album as "Nordic ambient." The record is credited to the Saab Knutson alias, who Wolfers describes as "a man with many issues, but on the Faroe Islands there is no time for issues. To stay of sound mind, Saab plays his synthesizers in the few spare hours he manages to find, unmistakably influenced by Faroe's spellbinding landscapes and grim climate." Wolfers also lists the equipment he used in making the LP: "Yamaha DX100, Roland JX3P, Alpha Juno 2 and EMU 16 bit digital sampling keyboard." Listen to the album in full over at Legowelt's Bandcamp page.
Wolfers also has an EP on the way as Legowelt—it's called Laundromat of Your Mind and it'll come out in early September via Hague-based label BAKK.
