The Lyon festival will host Nils Frahm, KiNK, Moodymann, Voices From The Lake and more in May.
Nuits Sonores has revealed the complete lineup for its 2015 edition, starting May 13th.
Following last month's announcement of its daytime programme curated by Ben Klock, John Talabot and Jamie xx, festival organisers have announced the nighttime lineup. Like last year, most of the night events will take place at Ancien Marché de Gros—the city's former wholesale market—which will be split into three separate rooms.
On Wednesday, May 13th, the festival's first night will see Tale Of Us and Daniel Avery each hosting a stage. In Halle 1, Tale Of Us have invited Nils Frahm, Recondite and local favourite Agoria, who will spin back-to-back with Mano Le Tough. On his Divided Love stage, Avery will close the night after performances from Answer Code Request, Factory Floor, Voices From The Lake and KiNK. The third stage will be dedicated to Eastern electronic sounds with Baris K bringing his Insanlar live project alongside Hinterhof's Mehmet Aslan, Zeid Hamdan & Maryam Saleh's Halawella collaboration and modern raï ensemble Mazalda featuring Cheb Lakhdar.
As usual, the Thursday night programme will happen at various city venues, showcasing names like DJ Qu, Gerd Janson, Howling, Konstantin Sibold, Ghostpoet and Sven Weisemann. There will be a Life And Death showcase with DJ Tennis and Mind Against and an Antinote night with D.K., Low Jack and Zaltan.
On Friday, May 15th, Halle 1 will pay tribute to Detroit artists with a performance from Carl Craig featuring Mike Banks, alongside DJ sets from Moodymann and DJ Deep. Halle 2 will see Kelela and Brodinski both playing live. The fourth night, May 16th, will see veterans The Orb and Laurent Garnier share the stage with newer acts Jon Hopkins and Voiski. Other Saturday highlights include Alejandro Paz, La Mverte, Morphosis and Rone.
The full programme can be found on the Nuits Sonores website.
