The Detroit acid obsessive will head out to Ferndale for a Wednesday-night event next week.
Jared Wilson will headline a party at The Grasshopper Underground in Ferndale, just outside Detroit, on Wednesday, February 4th.
Wilson's 303-heavy take on techno and house is becoming more and more widely known these days. The Detroit producer has appeared on labels like Skudge, Dolly and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams in recent years, while keeping busy with his own 7777 imprint—that's where he put out a double-vinyl release last year called Ghost Miners, which earned very high marks from RA's Will Lynch.
He's got a couple gigs in Europe coming up later in February, but first he'll hit Grasshopper for a show hosted by Detroit Techno House. The night's lineup is composed solely of Motor City artists, with Scott Coleman from Bang Tech 12, Sexual Tension residents Pontchartrain and Jerry Downey Jr and Tea Time (AKA Walter Glasshouse and Chris Macom, from Detroit Techno House) also playing sets.
