- The two-part EP will arrive through Avian on December 1st.
Shifted has announced details of a two-part EP called Arrangements In Monochrome, landing December 1st via his own Avian label.
It's Guy Brewer's first material as Shifted since his Under A Single Banner album for Bed Of Nails last November. Since then he's released records under the names Covered In Sand and Relay.
"Arrangements In Monochrome was written in my new studio setup in Berlin in spring of 2014," he says. "I almost view these works as an addendum to last year's Under A Single Banner LP. I was very happy with that record but always felt that perhaps there were some things left unsaid. The technical process involved this time around was quite different, but it shares a lot of the same colours and textures."
The two EPs wrap up a year for Avian that's seen the label release an album from SHXCXCHCXSH and EPs from Alessandro Cortini (as Skarn) and Sigha. The artwork for both records has been done by Jesse Draxler. Brewer recently spoke with RA's Andrew Ryce—check the feature here.
