Rocket is the latest party to hit Barcelona's clubbing circuit, running every Sunday across the summer at Passeig Maritim de La Barceloneta.
Before launching into its summer series, the new outfit held a trial run on April 20th with Derrick Carter and ONNO. As of May 4th, the events will carry more of an outdoor feel, making the most of the new venue's spacious terrace and beachfront views. Nick Curly, Matt Tolfrey and D'Julz have all been confirmed for the opening, with support from Londoner jozif.
Sunday the 11th will see DJ W!ld, Ryan Crosson and Italian duo System Of Survival all perform, while Huxley, Kim Ann Foxman and Adriatique keep things housey on the 18th. Rounding out the month, Hercules & Love Affair drop by as part of their album tour on the 25th, accompanied by Oliver $. Lineups for the rest of the summer are still TBA, though Cassy, Carl Craig and Horse Meat Disco have all been confirmed. All parties run from 9 PM through 6 AM, though the terrace will be open from the earlier time of 5 PM.
Outside of its weekly summer series, Rocket will host a large-scale event on Sunday, June 15th. Running from 3 PM through 6 AM, the party will feature over 15 DJs, including Session Victim, The 2 Bears, A Guy Called Gerald and a back-to-back set from Geddes and Simon Baker.
