- The new label, known as R3 for short, will launch later this month.
Rolando will inaugurate his new label, Roland Rocha Records, with a solo EP due out April 28th.
The Detroit-raised artist, who is still revered for his timeless work as The Aztec Mystic for Underground Resistance, is based in Edinburgh these days, and keeps a pretty low profile. According to XLR8R, he's started Roland Rocha Records (or R3) to give himself "artistic freedom to put music out in the right context" and retain "ultimate control" over his own work.
First up is an EP called Juu, which features three new cuts from Rolando himself. You can listen to two of those tracks—"Time Adjustment" and "Juu"—in his recent mix for Trax Magazine, which is streaming below.
Tracklist
01. Juu
02. Non
03. Time Adjustment
