Fixed has a developed a wide-ranging programming policy over the years, with azariiii" data-artist-news-link="true">Azari & III, Blondes, Matthew Dear and Vatican Shadow counting as just a few of the party's many guests. (And they just linked up with fellow local outfit Verboten for a StageONE event this past weekend, featuring Four Tet among others.) For their ninth anniversary, Fixed will first set up shop at 285 Kent next Thursday, where The Field will perform live, represented by Axel Willner and his full band—it's their only US booking at the moment.
The celebration will move to Sullivan Room the following evening, where Waze & Odyssey (making their local debut) and Midland will co-headline. As usual, local support for each night will come from Fixed residents JDH & Dave P.
