- A new one from Auntie Flo next month will launch the UK crew's new sublabel.
Huntleys + Palmers is launching a new sublabel called HIGHLIFE next month.
Auntie Flo, the Glasgow-based DJ who heads up the H+P-affiliated party of the same name, is at the helm of the label's first release. It's called Highlifedits, and it contains two tracks that are purportedly "rooted in African music and designed to set dancefloors alight." Details on HIGHLIFE are scarce at the moment, but we're told to expect more new music from Auntie Flo and company in the future. Its parent label has music on the way from DJs Pareja, DrumTalk and Mamacita, who collaborated with Auntie Flo on his 2012 album Future Rhythm Machine.
Tracklist
A1 Doodle
B1 Lumbalu
HIGHLIFE will release Highlifedits on September 2nd, 2013.
