- The Montreal artist will release his debut album in February.
Doldrums will release Lesser Evil on February 26th.
Doldrums is the project of Montreal synth-pop eccentric Airick Woodhead. He only has a few releases to its name so far, on labels like No Pain In Pop, but also made an appearance on Grimes' well-received Visions LP last year. Woodhead's debut full-length is also his first release through Montreal outfit Arbutus Records, the same imprint that released the Grimes record. Lesser Evil reportedly reflects the producer's self-proclaimed "[immunity] to technology," with constantly shifting, sample-heavy songs that prominently feature his own falsetto vocals. Toronto producer Guy Dallas and Quebec artist Sami Nacomi make appearances on the LP as well.
