Jackmaster and Simian Mobile Disco will also play the Liverpool club's anniversary festivities in May.
Joy Orbison and Simian Mobile Disco will headline two different two-year anniversary parties for Liverpool's Shipping Forecast on May 18th and 19th.
After two years in business, Shipping Forecast has seen names like Jamie Woon, Mark Ronson, Shackleton, and André Galluzzi, among others, grace the decks of its intimate, 150-capacity venue, The Hold. The combination nightclub, bar, and eatery will celebrate its second anniversary over two nights: that Friday will be a Numbers-themed affair featuring the one-two-punch of Joy Orbison and Jackmaster, while Saturday will be headlined by a DJ set from London duo Simian Mobile Disco, backed up by Sunday Best man Rob Da Bank and Liverpool hometown hero James Rand.
