- The Sydney veteran will play all night long this June at Picnic's warehouse party series.
Simon Caldwell has been booked to play Picnic's One Night Stand party for the second time on June 16th.
The warehouse party series began 12 months ago as a way to showcase Australian talent by inviting one local DJ to play an all-night set, and so far has seen names like Tornado Wallace, Canyons and Hey Convict!. Caldwell, who was the night's second guest, is one of Sydney's longest-serving and frequently booked DJs, maintaining a reputation for consistency and quality behind the decks. As the co-founder of Mad Racket, one of the city's longest running and most popular house music parties now in its 13th year, he has both hosted and supported a wide range of international acts including Moodymann, Steve Bug, Daedalus and Theo Parrish. Fun fact: he's also the only Australian to have contributed both an RA Podcast and an RA Exchange.
The party will be held at a Sydney warehouse location to be announced at a later date, and will begin at 9:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased here on RA.
