- The self-titled full-length will be released on the Editions Mego off-shoot, Spectrum Spools.
Rachel Evans' experimental project, Motion Sickness of Time Travel, has unveiled a self-titled double album for release on Spectrum Spools in May.
It'll be the first time the Georgia-based artist has worked with the Editions Mego off-shoot, but considering the range of experimental music the imprint has released in the last 12 months the partnership seems a suitable one. In the last three years Evans has released over ten solo full-lengths as MSOTT on labels like her own Hooker Vision imprint and Digitalis Recordings. Her most critically acclaimed works have been the 2010 ambient LP Seeping Through the Veil of the Unconscious and last year's Luminaries & Synastry, which was a more refined collection of experimental explorations. The forthcoming double album contains four arrangements with the shortest running up to 20 minutes.
