- Sunday Best will release the film director's first full-length in November.
David Lynch has revealed details for his first full-length, entitled Crazy Clown Time.
Lynch, who cites Elvis, Au Revoir Simone and Sparklehorse as influences, has been experimenting with music for years, co-composing and even singing on pieces in his more recent films, such as Inland Empire. He made his electronic debut less than a year ago with Good Day Today, a melodic single on Sunday Best, Rob Da Bank's label, who will also be releasing the new album. As with that release, Crazy Clown Time shows the 65-year-old artist using all digital equipment and teaming up studio engineer Dean Hurley. It features a guest appearance from Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, who sings on the opening track "Pinky's Dream."
