The BBC Radio 1 DJ will revive his weekly residency at the Ibiza club this summer.
After a five-year break, Pete Tong will once again hold a weekly residency at Pacha in Ibiza.
As one of the White Isle's swankier haunts, Pacha is a summer home for artists like David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia (and as of last summer, Luciano). Tong set up shop there in 2003 with his Pure Pacha series, then left the party for a new gig at Eden in 2007. Pure Pacha continued in his absence, hosting big name artists like Sasha and Sander Kleinenberg. With Tong back, the series continues on Friday nights with a characteristically star-studded bill of guest artists, including Paul Kalkbrenner, Fatboy Slim, Trentemøller and Felix Da Housecat, with Derrick Carter and Stacey Pullen adding a bit of old school flavor. Details on the individual events have yet to be revealed, though 2 Many DJs are confirmed for the opening party on May 27th. The season wraps up 19 weeks later on September 30th.
