- The producer has put together jazz interpretations of the imprint's tracks for the latest installment of the annual compilation.
And.ID is the man behind the fourth installment of Mobilee's annual Back to Back series.
The DJ, producer and sometime trumpeter has followed suit by steering the compilation in a different direction from that of its predecessor. This time around, the compilation's hook is that the first six tracks on the second disc are jazz interpretations of classic Mobilee tunes. And.ID has brought together recent Berklee College of Music grads and seasoned studio musicians to craft versions of songs that you'll likely recognize from the Mobilee back catalogue: Sebo K's "Horizons" gets a look in, as well as Dan Curtin's "Other" and Pan-Pot's "Faces" among others.
Elsewhere, the first disc is a compilation of some of the imprint's latest and greatest, put together by And.ID who also contributes the sole exclusive track. And there will also be a never-before-heard live mix of And.ID available to those purchasing Back to Back Vol. 4 on CD via a digital download code.
