- The Hamburg producer will release his fourth album under the Lawrence guise next month.
Peter Kersten is set to release his fourth album as Lawrence next month.
Kersten recently revealed that the album is set to be titled Until Then, Goodbye during his interview for this week's RA podcast, but we can now inform you of the release's full details. As with his Lowlights from the Past & Future collection of EP tracks and remixes, the album will see the light of day on Toshiya Kawasaki's Mule Electronic imprint, and it will even start with the same track; the slow burning "Friday's Child." Three other cuts from his Mule and Dial 12-inch releases appear throughout, but there are nine previously unreleased tracks for hardcore Kersten fans to get their teeth into. Long-term Smallville Records collaborator Stefan Marx is also on hand to supply the artwork, but you may know his work from the easily recognisable Isolee or Endless Flight sleeves.
Musically speaking, Kersten hasn't given much away, telling us to expect "a colourful mixture of ambient pieces, acoustic live takes and a few deep club tracks," but you can be sure that there'll be plenty of his lush melodic touches and delicate percussive work spread throughout.
