- The duo's second collaborative LP is out via Kompakt in early 2017.
Vermont, the collaborative project of Danilo Plessow (Motor City Drum Ensemble) and Innervisions' Marcus Worgull, has a second album on the way.
Titled II, the LP is coming out on February 10th, 2017, through Kompakt, the Cologne label that released the first Vermont album back in March of 2014. Kompakt says the pair's second LP continues in the same vein as the first, drawing inspiration from kosmische, krautrock, minimal wave and synth soundtracks. There are a few guest musicians, including Robbert Van Der Bildt (guitar) and Dermot O'Mahony and Tadhg Murphy on strings. The list of electronic gear used by Plessow and Worgull on II includes an ARP Oddysey, Moog Prodigy, Fender Rhodes and products from the Juno and Prophet lines.
Stream the album's opening song, "Norderney."
