LA's scene continued to flourish in 2014, and prospective dancers can find action anywhere from a dingy warehouses to boutique hotels this New Year's eve.
Doc Martin refuses to be stopped, running in an undisclosed location with acid progenitor DJ Pierre. A Club Called Rhonda is taking over all 13 floors of The Standard Downtown, fielding a lineup which includes Omar S, a a Hot Chip DJ set and Jimmy Edgar. For a more low-key affair, check out fledgling LA label Private Selection's loft party, where Delivery (LA Club Resource) will spin alongside Dreams, Arkitekt and Aerial. Other DTLA options include John Digweed at Exchange and Minimal Effort's bash with DJ T., DJ Three and the Desert Hearts crew at Lot 613. Heading to Hollywood, Danny Tenaglia will ring in 2015 at Sound, and on January 1st, Lee Burridge brings his outdoor All Day I Dream party to the historic Egyptian Theater. In Venice Beach, Marques Wyatt will wrap up the two-day Munifisense party on New Year's Day.
