- The compilation includes exclusive tracks from Hunee, Ron Morelli and more.
Future Times has announced a limited reissue of Vibe 2, a 2011 double-vinyl compilation on the D.C. label.
The first Vibe comp showcased the label's inner circle (Protect-U, Beautiful Swimmers), while the second Vibe instalment branched out, scoring contributions from friends who have become increasingly visible in years since.
The album opens with a track from Ron Morelli (as L.I.E.S.), given the remix treatment by labelhead Maxmillion Dunbar. The collection also features synth wizard Steve Moore, Rush Hour's Hunee, Juju and Jordash, and two efforts from Jason Letkiewicz under his Steve Summers and Confused House aliases. The latter name would be re-used for the label he now runs with Bookworms. RA contributor William Rauscher reviewed Vibe 2 positively upon its original release.
Max D recently turned in a mix for XLR8R featuring newer material from some of the artists featured on Vibe 2. Check it out here.
