  • Token has revealed full details of the Aphelion compilation, which lands on November 3rd. The label first teased news of the compilation with Surgeon's Fixed Action Pattern 12-inch. That was followed by the announcement of a second sampler EP, this time with Rødhåd at the controls. The lead tracks from those two records feature on Aphelion. They're joined by a number of Token regulars—Ø [Phase], Ctrls, Inigo Kennedy—and a clutch of techno favourites like Lucy, Karenn, Luke Slater (as Planetary Assault Systems) and James Ruskin, who are all presenting original material on Token for the first time. Aphelion continues Token's evolution from a singles-focused label to a more wide-ranging imprint. The compilation follows 2013's Token Introspective and Ø [Phase]'s Frames Of Reference LP, as well as this year's Vaudeville album from Inigo Kennedy. Tracklist 01. Ø [Phase] - Insectoid 02. Lucy - Sana Sana Sana Cura Cura Cura 03. Ctrls - x.y 04. Rødhåd - Haumea 05. Planetary Assault Systems - The 808 Track (Parts 1 and 2) 06. James Ruskin - No Trace 07.
