Celebrating 20 years on the island, the San Antonio staple will bring a classic house sound to Monday nights at the superclub.
Ibiza Rocks has outlined a 20-week residency at Pacha this season called Ibiza Rocks House.
Taking its name from the Ibiza Rocks House Hotel at Pikes, the party series will commemorate the brand's 20th year on the island. Rather than the rock, pop, drum & bass or dubstep IR has become synonymous with, the residency will focus on classic UK and US house. Running every Monday night from May 26th through October 6th, the season will kick off with sets from Derrick Carter, Shadow Child and resident Doorly. Belgian party-starters 2ManyDJs will play six times across the summer—the most of any headline act—including June 2nd, July 28th and September 22nd.
Basement Jaxx have been locked in for five shows, while Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Dope and Groove Armada will all put in three appearances apiece. Norwegian duo Röyksopp headline on July 21st and August 11th, with UK favourites Jesse Rose, The 2 Bears and George FitzGerald spinning on June 9th, August 4th and October 6th respectively. Other highlights include Green Velvet on June 9th, a Giorgio Moroder DJ set on July 7th and two outings from DJ Pierre (June 30th, September 1st.) Set to transport the weird and wonderful aesthetic of Pikes Hotel to Pacha, "the parties will celebrate the individualistic, non-corporate, surreal and eccentric," according to the press release.
