- The veteran Dutch producer's next album will drop in June.
Orlando Voorn has revealed details for his next album, Black Diamond.
Voorn is a stalwart of the Dutch underground scene, having been at it as a DJ and producer since the '80s. In the studio, he's worked under his given name along with more than a dozen other aliases, like Format and Fix, to put out a seemingly endless stream of records, though these days he usually sticks to his own name. Black Diamond is the third album credited as such, following last year's Divine Intervention LP, and it'll come out on CD by way of Berlin label Out-er. There's 12 tracks, including a Hi-Tech Soul remix, and listeners can expect a wide-ranging blend of techno and electro with plenty of acid throughout, all the way to the eleven-minute last track "Ravers Of The Lost Funk."
